Mals-e Shopping Cart

Without a doubt, this is one of the best carts around: even if it is FREE! I know of countless designers who use this system, it’s awesome for most small business ecommerce needs. The free use of the secure server is one perk that is worth it’s weight in gold.

Mals has the ability to do what most business owners want or need, if they have just a few products. However, there are some third party add-ons and software that works with Mals to make it even more dynamic - literally. Take, for example, OptionCart. It provides a database and administration panel to make operating a Mals store even more feature rich. It turns Mals into a content management system! Very sweet!

Mals also has a premium cart, that will allow it to integrate with gateway payment processors for real-time credit card processing with the business owners merchant account. At only $6.00 per month, it’s well worth the money. Integrating with PayPal, 2CheckOut and other popular online payment processors, has made Mals a big contender in the shopping cart world.

For the straight Mals free cart, one does need to be familiar with html to get the cart setup and installed, but there are very good tutorials on the site, as well as, a help forum, so all but the extreme computer novice should be able to get a Mals cart up and running. With a free price tag (or nomimal $6.00 per month for the premium cart), any small business owner can afford that.
