PayPal’s Website Payments Pro

Website Payments Pro is a new(er) venture for PayPal. It’s a regular merchant account, with real-time processing. The fees are in line with most other merchant accounts: no setup fess, no cancellation fees, transaction fees of 2.2% to 2.9% + $0.30 and the regular $20 per month fee is waived until 2/1/2006. So it makes it worth checking out to see if it is right for you and your business.

If you use one of the shopping carts that are pre-configured to integrate with Website Payments Pro, setup is nearly effortless.

If your cart isn’t listed above, you can email PayPal and they will contact the cart vendor. Or you can still integrate Website Payments Pro with your existing cart, but it does take more time and skill to do so.
